Tank size is the specification people check after everything else, and it is the one they regret first. A tank that is too small means a second connection in the middle of a fill, and a fill interrupted at a shift change is a fill that finishes tomorrow.
This range uses two sizes and the split is deliberate: 20L for the 12, 18, 24 and 28-cell sets, 50L for the 36 and 40-cell sets.

How Much Water a Pack Actually Takes
Less than people expect. A cell that is low but not dry takes a small volume, and the system stops at level rather than filling to the brim. What matters is that the tank covers the whole pack in one connection with margin for the cells that were furthest down — which is why the 36 and 40-cell sets are paired with 50L rather than the same tank as the smaller models.
Quick Fill in Practice
Connect at the K10 coupling, open the tank, watch the indicator. Water moves, the lowest cells fill first, each valve closes in turn, the indicator stops when the last one shuts. Disconnect. There is no topping up, no second pass and no cell-by-cell check, and the 40 lens caps give a visual confirmation whenever someone wants one.
Questions
Can I use a 20L tank on an 80V pack? You can, but expect a refill partway through. The 50L is matched to the pack for a reason.
Is the tank heavy when full? 50L is manageable for one person on a trolley, and the tank does not have to be lifted to the battery.
Does the same tank work on a 48V truck? Yes — the coupling is common across the range, so tanks can be shared between models.
