SC50: The Two-Pin Connector for Light Traction
50A · 600V · UL1977 · IP20 · two-pin · 10/12 AWG to 6 AWG
Hand pallet trucks, small stackers and light EVs do not need a 350A connector, and fitting one is not free: a heavy connector on a light lead is awkward for the operator and harder on the cable entry. The SC50 exists for the smaller end of the fleet, where the current is modest and the lead is a 10 AWG or an 8 AWG.

Ratings
50A continuous, 600V, to UL1977, IP20, -20℃ to +105℃, with 2500V DC withstand voltage. Two-pin bipolar. Contact terminals are T2 copper with silver plating; the shell is PC110U polycarbonate, impact resistant at low temperature. Colour is standard or to customer requirement.
The voltage rating is high relative to the current because the two figures answer different questions: 600V is the insulation capability, 50A is what the contact can carry continuously. A connector can therefore be used on a 48V or 80V pack without the voltage being the limiting factor — the cable and the load decide that.

Why a Two-Pin Connector at All
A bipolar connector keys the polarity mechanically: the two halves only mate one way round, so a lead cannot be connected reversed. On a small truck where the battery is often changed by someone who is not an electrician, that is the safety feature that matters most — more than the current rating, and more than the housing.
Custom Builds
The model is offered as a custom industrial connector: colour, cable size and the terminal arrangement can be specified, and the connector is supplied as a set with matched handle and cover. Where a machine uses a non-standard lead, sending the cable size along with the order is what avoids a connector that arrives correct in every way except the one that matters.
Fitting and Inspection
Crimp with the die for the cable size, pull-test, then seat the contact until it clicks and tug it back. In service, check the contact face for discoloration and the cable entry for a hard bend — on a light lead, the entry is where a cable fails first, because the connector is often left hanging from it.
Questions
Is 50A enough for a stacker? It depends on the truck's current; the cable already fitted is the best guide, and a machine using 6 AWG is usually at the top of this range rather than beyond it.
Is it waterproof? IP20 rated — solid objects, not water.
Can the colour be specified? Yes, standard colours or to customer requirement.
Does it come with a handle? Yes, as a matched set with handle and cover.
