Less Time, Fewer Mistakes
Watering a traction battery by eye is slow and error-prone. Too little water leaves plates exposed and cuts capacity; too much dilutes the acid and spills electrolyte. A float filling cap removes the guesswork: the float sits on the electrolyte, so the correct level is visible and repeatable across every cell in the string.

Simple, Repairable, Long-Lasting
The LK-CAP-2 keeps the mechanism deliberately simple — a float, a body and a seal — so there is little to wear out or misread. The PP body resists the acid mist and temperature swings of a charging bay, and the seal is sized for the medium (Size M) filler port found on most standard forklift cells.
Selection & Fit
Choose the cap by cell height as well as thread. The LK-CAP-2 uses a 67 mm float for standard cells; the shorter LK-CAP-1 (57 mm) suits low cells and the taller LK-CAP-3 (77 mm) suits large ones. Fit by hand — a firm seal, not a forced one.
Everyday Care
Top up with distilled or de-ionised water only, to the float mark. Keep the vent path clear; a blocked vent traps gas and pushes electrolyte out. Replace any cap that has cracked or lost its seal.

Q1: How is this different from an ordinary battery cap?
A1: An ordinary cap only seals and vents. The float filling cap adds a level indicator, so watering becomes a visible, accurate action rather than a guess.
Q2: I run a mixed fleet — one size is enough?
A2: Usually not. Match the float to the cell: 67 mm for most forklift cells, 57 mm for short cells and 77 mm for tall, high-capacity cells.
Q3: Will the float get stuck after long-term use?
A3: If the vent stays clean and we only use de-ionised water, sticking rarely happens. Clean the float assembly when heavy dirt or sediment builds up.
