The PROLAKER 48V 5PZS600 is a DIN-standard traction battery built from 24 series-connected 5PzS600 tubular plate cells, delivering 48V and 600Ah at the 5-hour rate. It is engineered for the duty cycles that break ordinary batteries in hot, dusty, high-utilisation sites – container yards, ports, mines and heavy warehousing – and is a direct fit for DIN battery compartments on electric forklifts, tow tractors and platform trucks.

- High-rib tubular positive plates cast from low-antimony lead alloy, wrapped in polyester gauntlets for deep-cycle endurance.
- 1,500 cycles at 80% depth of discharge with correct charging – roughly double the service life of flat pasted traction plates.
- Heat-tolerant electrolyte formula tuned for 35–45°C ambient sites, reducing water loss and plate corrosion.

- Flip-top vent plugs with central degassing for fast topping-up and safe hydrogen release.

Built for East African Operating Conditions
Batteries that perform in a temperate warehouse often fail early in Dar es Salaam, Mwanza or Dodoma. High ambient temperature accelerates water loss, grid corrosion and thermal runaway. For Tanzania-bound packs PROLAKER adjusts electrolyte density and recommends a matching 48V high-frequency charger with temperature compensation, keeping the pack inside its safe gassing window when daytime temperatures sit above 35°C. Dust ingress is handled by a sealed lid design with central degassing, and the reinforced tray survives unpaved yard transport.
Packaging and Export Handling
- Cells shipped dry-charged or wet, as requested; wet packs supplied with electrolyte and activated before shipment.
- Steel tray with lifting lugs, timber-crated and strapped for 20GP or 40GP container loading.
- UN 2794 class 8 dangerous goods documentation, MSDS, packing list and certificate of origin provided.
- Neutral or PROLAKER branded packaging; OEM labelling available on volume orders.
