TP120 is the best-selling model of the LAKER TP series solid tire press line. Driven by a 4KW motor and rated at 120 tons of pressing force, it is built for one job that nothing else can do properly: forcing stiff, airless solid tires onto (or off) forklift rims. It suits the daily workload of tire service shops, forklift rental fleets, warehouses, ports and mining logistics centers that maintain forklifts up to 7 tons.

The TP120 accepts the most common forklift solid tire sizes — 28×9-15, 8.25-15 and 355/65-15 — on 12-16 inch rims. Mounting, dismounting and amending are all handled by the same machine, so one press replaces what would otherwise require several special tools.

The TP120 is not a single-purpose tool. The same frame and hydraulic system handle all three jobs a solid tire workshop meets every day:

 Mounting (press-on) 

Presses a new solid tire evenly onto the rim until the bead seats fully against the rim flange — no hammers, no levers, no damaged beads.

Dismounting (press-out)

Presses the worn solid tire out of the rim so the wheel can be re-shod quickly and sent back to work.

Amending (correction)

Corrects solid tires that have shifted, deformed or run out of position during service, restoring proper seating on the rim.

 Hydraulic System — Core Components 

The TP120 hydraulic system is a closed, relief-valve-protected circuit built from seven main parts, each with a clear job: the high-pressure pump generates the oil flow that drives the press (12-35 MPa working range across the TP series); the main cylinder pushes the piston rod and pressing head downward to apply force on the tire; the solenoid valve switches the oil direction for press-down and return strokes; the relief (safety) valve sets the maximum pressure and automatically releases oil on overload; the check valve prevents oil backflow so pressure is held during pressing; the pressure gauge displays the actual working pressure in real time; and the oil tank (130-370 L depending on tonnage) stores and cools the hydraulic oil.
