Take-Off Cable, Universal Type — Supplied in Multiple Lengths
This is our universal take-off cable: the lead that carries a battery pack's full discharge current from the battery terminal out to the truck connector. Instead of a single fixed length, it is produced in a range of centre lengths so one part covers most battery-to-truck runs. Where the standard lengths below do not fit, any length can be cut to your measurement.

Where the Take-Off Cable Is Used
- The main discharge lead from the battery take-off terminal to the truck connector
- The battery-to-charger inlet lead on opportunity-charging and multi-shift set-ups
- Replacement of an original take-off lead that has hardened, chafed or been re-tightened too often
- Short jumper runs where the pack sits close to the contactor panel
Why a Universal Length Range Helps
Most battery-to-truck runs fall into a handful of lengths, so stocking a range lets a distributor fit the common jobs without measuring and waiting for a cut lead. The lead carries the whole load current of the truck, so a 35mm² stranded copper core keeps resistance and voltage drop low over the run, while the rubber jacket absorbs the movement every time a pack slides in or out. Order a single length or a mixed set, and match the terminations to the terminal bolt and connector on your truck.
