There is a category of buyer for whom the technical case is already settled and the remaining question is paperwork: the site that has to list a watering system in an audit, the distributor that resells into the EU, the fleet operator whose procurement form has a certification column. For those, the kit has to be as easy to document as it is to fit.
AWS-12 is the 24V member of the FROTEK range and carries CE certification. Underneath, it is the same system as every other model: a float valve in each head, one closed run of pipe, one indicator, one tank coupling.
What the Certification Covers
CE here is a declaration against the applicable European requirements for the product as supplied — the kit itself, not the battery it is fitted to. It is the document an auditor asks for when a maintenance item appears on a site's equipment list, and the difference between a purchase that proceeds and one that waits for a compliance review.

Why the Same Range Covers 24V to 80V
The fittings do not change with voltage. A 12-cell 24V pack and a 40-cell 80V pack use the same head body, the same end plugs, the same indicator and the same K10 coupling; only the number of heads, the length of the 6mm line and the tank size differ. For a distributor this is the useful part: one certification, one spare parts line, six pack sizes.
Fitting and Use
Heads replace the vent caps; the run is closed at the far end and fed through the indicator from the tank. First fill takes a few minutes and the indicator stops when the last valve closes. After that the routine is a single connection per service — no caps opened, no cells inspected by eye, no acid handled.
Questions
Is the CE documentation supplied with the goods? Yes — tell us at the order stage if your file needs a specific format.
Does certification change the kit? No. The kit is the same; certification is about documentation.
Can it go on a 48V truck instead? Not this set — a 24-cell pack needs AWS-24. The fittings remain interchangeable.
