An automatic watering system is not one product. It is eight parts doing different jobs, and almost every complaint about a wet tray or an uneven pack traces back to one of them being misunderstood.

| Watering plug (float head) | Replaces the vent cap. Houses a float valve that closes when its cell reaches level, and a lens on top for a visual check without opening anything. |
| T-piece 6-10-6 | Joins the 6mm head line to the 10mm supply and makes the turns. It rotates, so the run follows the tray instead of being bent into it. |
| Flow indicator with filter | Shows water moving while filling and still when the pack is full — the only feedback the system gives. Carries the filter that keeps grit out of the valves. |
| 6mm watering pipe | The line that feeds the heads; 4m on this model, sized to a 24-cell tray. |
| 10mm supply pipe | Tank to manifold; 3m, larger bore so the flow is not restricted across the length. |

The Three Mistakes People Make
One: leaving a section of run unplugged or loosely plugged. The system only fills evenly when the line is closed; an open end means the nearest cells take the water and the far ones stay low. Two: fitting the indicator where it cannot be seen with the cover down, then filling by guesswork. Three: never touching the filter. A partly blocked element slows the fill, which looks like a valve problem and gets diagnosed as one.
Why the Parts Are Shared Across the Range
The same head, T-piece, indicator, end plug and coupling are used from AWS-12 to AWS-40. Only the head count, the 6mm length and the tank change. That is deliberate: a mixed fleet keeps one spares bag, and a fitter who has done one truck has done them all.
Questions
Can I buy individual parts? Yes — heads, T-pieces, indicators, end plugs and pipe are all supplied separately.
How do I know the run is sealed? Assemble it and fill once with the tank; a joint that will seep shows within minutes, while someone is standing there.
Is the tank interchangeable between models? Yes — the coupling is the same throughout the range.
