Built for Golf Cars and Club Cars
An 80V pack of 40 cells is a golf car or light EV configuration as often as it is an industrial one. What those packs have in common is a tight compartment: the cells sit low, the interlinks are close together, and there is very little room to work above them. Forty vent caps in that space is a job nobody wants to do with a jug.
The kit replaces all forty caps with watering heads and links them in a single run. The T-pieces rotate so the pipe can step around interlinks, and the run terminates in end plugs rather than being left open.
The Flow Indicator
One indicator with an integral filter sits at the inlet. While water moves, it moves; when the last cell closes, it stops. That single visual is the completion signal, and it is also the first diagnostic: a flow that never settles means a valve is held open or a joint is seeping.
Tank Sizing
The 60L tank is the larger of the two sizes offered across the range, and it is the one matched to 36- and 40-cell strings. For a site with several cars, the tank moves between packs rather than each car having its own — the coupling is designed to make that a repeatable connection, not a one-off fitting.
What to Check Before Ordering
Count the cells and confirm the cap thread or bayonet type on the cells. The kit assumes the heads replace the existing vent caps directly; where a pack uses a different cap pattern, that is the one detail worth confirming before the order rather than after.
In Service
Fill, connect, wait for the indicator to stop, disconnect. Check the filter monthly in a dusty bay, and check the pipe ends whenever a pack is lifted out. Nothing in the routine requires a decision, which is the point: the system is meant to remove the judgement, not relocate it.
Why Forty Caps Is the Threshold
At twelve cells, hand watering is an inconvenience. At forty, it is a project: the caps have to be removed and replaced in the right order, the fill has to be judged per cell, and the person doing it spends long enough over an open pack that shortcuts become tempting. That is the point at which a system pays for itself in the first season, purely on the labour it removes.
It is also the point at which consistency matters most. Forty cells filled by eye will not be filled equally, and the cells that end up low are the ones that fail first — which is why the float, not the technician, should be the thing deciding the level.
