Gravity Feed: No Pump, No Power, No Settings
Complete filling kit · 6mm tube · 24V / 48V / 80V · 0.2–2.5 bar working pressure
The kit works on a height difference. Hang or stand the tank above the battery, connect the 6mm tube to the manifold, and water moves down into the pack. Each vent plug contains a float; when a cell reaches level, its valve closes, and the whole string stops taking water when the last one shuts. There is nothing to set, nothing to power and nothing to calibrate.

What Is in the Kit
Automatic watering plugs with floats, end plugs, T-pieces and L-pieces, a flow indicator with an integral filter, 6mm / 8mm / 10mm pipe, male and female couplings (KV10 and KV6) and a water tank. The set is complete: it does not need a pump, a controller or a separate manifold to work.
Why Gravity Is Enough
The volume of water a cell needs is small — a few hundred millilitres across a whole pack. A height difference of a metre or so delivers that at a rate the valves can regulate, which is why the system can be passive. The pressure range in the specification is the confirmation: it is a low-pressure system by design, and the float valves are matched to it.
That passivity is also its advantage in a workshop. There is no electrical connection near a battery, no controller to fail, and nothing to reprogram after a battery is swapped. The kit either has water in the tank or it does not.
Correct Use
Set the tank above the highest cell, connect, open the supply and watch the indicator. When flow stops, disconnect and stow the tube. The plugs stay in the cells; they are not removed for watering. Where a pack is watered weekly, the routine is a few minutes per battery rather than a cell-by-cell task.
Temperature and Water Quality
Operating range is 0℃ to 55℃, which suits a warehouse or an outdoor charging point but not a cold store below freezing — water in a gravity line has to stay liquid. Use distilled or deionised water; the system controls the level, not the chemistry.
Where It Is Used
Electric forklifts, AGVs, sightseeing vehicles and industrial energy storage batteries with flooded lead acid cells. Anything with a standard vent plug pattern and periodic watering need is a candidate, and the 80mm plug height / 62mm float length are the figures to check against the existing caps.
Overfilling, Prevented
Overflow is the failure mode that damages everything around a battery: acid on the tray, corrosion on the interlinks, and a maintenance team that stops trusting the system. Because each valve closes on its own cell, the water stops at level rather than at a timer — which is the entire safety case for the design.

Installation Without Modification
The kit is added to the battery, not built into the machine. Plugs replace the vent caps, the manifold runs across the cell tops, and the supply tube reaches a tank positioned above the pack. Nothing on the truck is drilled, cut or rewired, which matters where the vehicle is leased or under a maintenance contract.
