In a warehouse where the truck works the aisle and the battery never leaves it, watering is a task with a hard constraint: nobody is going to remove a 48V pack to top it up. The system has to work with the battery in place, in the two minutes between shifts, by an operator who is not going to put on acid gear for it.
AWS-24 is built for exactly that routine, and this is the CE-declared version of it.
What the Routine Looks Like

Why Certification Matters Here
A warehouse that runs a documented maintenance regime has to list what is fitted to the truck. A CE declaration on the kit removes the question that otherwise stops the purchase at the procurement stage — not because the system is technically different, but because the file is complete.
Overfill, and Why It Is the Expensive Failure
An overfilled cell pushes electrolyte out through the vent. The acid lands on the tray, the tray corrodes, the interlinks corrode, and the fault is discovered weeks later as a high-resistance joint rather than as a spill. The float valve in each head closes at level, so the failure that costs the most is the one the system is specifically designed to prevent.
Questions
Can it be fitted with the battery in the truck? Yes, provided the caps are accessible. On most 48V counterbalance trucks the heads can be changed in place.
Is the CE documentation supplied? Yes — tell us at order stage if a particular format is needed for your file.
Does the tank have to stay connected? No. Connect for filling, disconnect afterwards; the K10 coupling is made for repeated use.
